Door, Bedford- Owners of the successful Bedford

Profile Dining Room at Indian Head Resort,
Lincoln- Indian Head Resort has completed renovations to their
lobby and Profile Dining Room. Guests now enjoy even better views of
the Franconia Notch, a variety of seating options and wireless
internet throughout the building. The Profile Dining room
offers motor coach guests everything from a quick lunch to the full
dining experience. Under the guidance of Executive Chef Adam Parker,

Annual Railroad Days at Clark’s Trading
Post, Lincoln- September 17 and 18, 2011, revel in the
rich=history of railroading for a weekend of special excursions on
the White Mountain Central Railroad. Rail fans can ride steam

Celebrate the Earth Festival at Mt. Kearsarge
Indian Museum, Warner- Demonstrations of Native
American crafts, music, traditional food, self-guided museum and
Medicine Woods Trail tours are all available at the museum. New this
year is the Basket Trail Exhibit, which showcases traditional Native
American baskets. The museum offers many exciting events throughout
the year including the speaker series, craft making demonstrations,
storytelling, powwows and more. Special rates are available for
groups of 10 or more, not including special events.

Lakes Region Sportsmen’s Show, Gilford-
The Annual Lakes Region Sportsman’s Show offers seminars on
fishing, white tail deer, turkey, and waterfowl, as well as lessons
on fly tying. The show hosts upwards of 40 vendors from
restaurants and fundraisers, to hunting, fishing, and camping gear.
The event has a new location at the Laconia airport, which offers
more displaying space for larger trucks, boats, and recreational

Portsmouth Peace Treaty Day,
Statewide- A bill signed into law on August 17th, 2010 by
Governor Lynch made September 5th Portsmouth Peace Treaty Day.
This day will be a statewide observance of the peace negotiations
that ended the Russo-Japanese War. The negotiations and signing took
place in 1905 at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard under the guidance of

Alpine Adventures, Lincoln- The new
“Thrillsville” Aerial Park has an abundance of excitement with
bridges, cargo nets, rope ladders, zip-lines, giant swings, a tree
house and the first Powerfan © free-fall device in the United
States. Alpine is also adding a new "Tree Trek" tour that will
complement the zip-line courses and summer Off-Road Tours on a

Canobie Lake Park, Salem- Canobie is
getting ready to “unleash the beast” with their new roller coaster,
“Untamed”. This modern roller coaster is sure to be a hit with
its state of the art design by German roller coaster designers
Gerstlauer, who modeled the coaster after the Euro-Fighter 320
+. Although compact in size, this roller coaster will be among

Cranmore Mountain Adventure Park, North
Conway- North Conway’s newest family attraction is a complete
outdoor adventure featuring a mountain coaster, aerial adventure

scenic chairlift rides, disc golf and more. Activities for all ages!

Strawbery Banke Museum, Portsmouth-
Celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the American Civil War at
Strawbery Banke Museum. New this seasin is the "Hero and
Coward" exhibit in remembrance of Portsmouth Native General Fitz
John Porter, a controversial civil war figure. The exhibit
runs from May 1-October 31, 2011. The museum is home to New
Hampshire's "Civil War Governor", Ichabod Goodwin. Tour the

Live- Men's journal magazine chooses the top 18
towns to highlight in their annuual Best Places to Live Issue.
This years issue will include New Hampshire's very own
