Bordeaux is delighted to have been selected for the new "Destination pour Tous" (Resort for Everybody) label. This new certificate, is designed to recognise those resorts that have created tourist 'packages' suitable for disabled people, and to help us sensitise those in Bordeaux who offer tourist services (hotels, restaurants, shopkeepers, etc.) to the need for adapting their establishments to the needs of the disabled. An ambitious initiative for a town that plans to remain in the forefront of tourist attractions.

Jan Schwittalla, the young chef at Le 7e Péché, a restaurant in the Jardin Public district, has recently been honoured with his first Michelin star. The taste buds of the prestigious Guide Michelin were enchanted by his surprisingly creative cuisine, using very original ideas and some totally new techniques. The two best known wine producing regions of France have been linked by a regular air service from Eastern Airways since September 2010. Operating between Bordeaux and Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, it is ideal for both the individual wine-lovers and wine-traders.
